L'Hotel Island South - Hong Kong

Café da manha totalmente oriental, sem opções para viajantes ocidentais, Quarto com limpeza deficiente cheio de cabelos de outros hospedes.

A 10 anos venho para Hong Kong é este hotel foi otimo. Ele é economico considerando a qualidade do mesmo. Os cuartos me lembram ao Hyatt só que são muito menores. O restaurante é muito bom assim como a academia. é uma excelente opção pois no fica longe da estação de metro e tem transporte, para quem no quer esperar o taxi e na media 50 HKD e demora 10 Minst até o metro.

Somente falto um barsinho na pisina para beber alguma coisa. o hotel é muito bom mesmo.

O quarto é espaçoso e a piscina muito agradável. O onibus pro ocean Park foi muito util pois o lugar é de dificil acesso. Mas a boa noticia é que estao construindo uma estação de metro pertinho do hotel! A recepcionista nos indicou um excelente restaurante de comida casual! Ela foi muito atenciosa!

Ao chegar no hotel, tentaram nos colocar em um quarto twin. No momento da reserva, nao havia como selecionar entre cama twin ou casal. Foi desagradavel, pois tive que pedir muito para nos colocarem numa cama king como eu havia planejado. A piscina tem um horario de fechamento mas os salva vidas vieram nos tirar dela meia hora antes. Parecia que eles queriam ir embora logo pra casa.

Design bonito e muito limpo.

Péssima acústica, lotado de chineses mal-educados e barulhentos...check- in demorado e serviço médio....

I like the friendliness n warmth of the staffs. The room is clean n comfortable as well.

The location is far from shopping n eating area. Recommended for family who wish to go for ocean park.

Each and every staff we encountered during my four day stay provided SIX Star service and always with a lovely smile, ever ready to help.

My initiallly allocated room on the far end of the hotel vibrated with humming noises, presumably from the huge air-con vents located just next door in the back staircase area. Couldn't sleep. They very kindly changed my room and there were no further problems.

This hotel is simply great. Real comfort, hi-class design and facility and great position: just outside the Aberdeen tunnel in hk you are at 10 minutes by taxi or bus (bus stop is 3 minutes walk) from the skyscrapers in Causeway and very near the fascinating port of Aberdeen, but still you are in a quiet spot where you can see the hill and nature. The hotel is very cheap compared to its elegance, and compared to other places in hk where you can spend a lot of money to stay in tiny and unclean holes. Here you stay at a western-standard 4 star place spending definitely less than in Europe. Staff is perfect and the atmosphere is what you look for if you want to relax, to talk business as well as having nice time with your partner. Perfect for families too.

My first time with L'hotel Island South was very good. Starting from check-in till check-out, the services were efficient and friendly. The room was exceptionally good with a pleasant mountain view. I enjoyed the stay very much.

The panel of buttons of L1 to L6 in the elevator of the floors is located too low. Upon check-in, I wished to go to Lobby but I could just find 5 (5th floor).

I liked my room. value for money. i liked that there was a shuttle bus to airport express almost every thirty or so minutes. i liked that the shuttle was on time.

i didn't like the HK$ 1,000 deposit per room. That there was no fast food l and no shopping mall near the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel, very modern, nice rooms with fantastic views. Handy for going to Stanley or to Hong Kong City. There is a free shuttle bus to Central which is perfect for going into town. Taxis are also widely available and very cost effective. We were even upgraded on arrival as they had no rooms available of the type we booked. Would highly recommend.

If you want to stay in the middle of Hong Kong, then not ideal location, but everything is so accessible and the free shuttle bus makes getting around very easy.

It is a very good hotel. Nice room design. A bit strange location between industrial (I think) buildings. Kettle, tea, coffee. Not planty options to eat in surrounding area but there is Cooked meal market 5 min on foot and planty of eating options in Aberdeen city center (a few stops by bus). Not far from Ocean park (10-15 min by foot), Jumbo kingdom floating restaurant (10 min by foot + free boat). Planty of buses to go to the Hong Kong city center or Aberdeen center.

Restaurant is expensive. Shuttle bus did not come in time to HK airport express station (we've been waiting for it for an hour). Phoned to the hotel - no answer. Have to take a taxi to the hotel.

location is good because its near Ocean Park. although no nearby good restaurant. and no good establishment except for that park. the hotel location is isolated. the cleanliness of the hotel is excellent.

People must improve their english, very bad, especially taxi drivers - too bad. receptionist also must improve on their PR. (public relation) skills. not too nice. check in time must also be available in the morning and not just 2pm. this is too bad. travelers normally arrived in the morning so hotel check in at this time must also be available. no need to wait for the 2pm check in time.

luxury hotel at a great cost! the location is 10-20 minutes from central with the hotel shutle bus that leave almost every hour to and from till 23:50 which was greate, and made it very easy and fast to get to the central! the shutle bus also stop at ocean park which is great. most recommended!

I just wish they had a different desk to work on. The desk is right in front of the tv and the chair had no back. I do plan to stay at the hotel again!! I have already recommended this hotel to some co-workers.

The room was big and comfortable.The shuttle bus provided by the hotel was very helpful to us. The staff were helpful and friendly and they communicated very well in English.

The lobby was small and they were only two chairs avialable so we had to stand for quite a while before being entertained.
